It's probably easier to list off who Phil Palmer hasn't played with as a legendary session guitarist. He rivals Tom Jones for name dropping: Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Paul McCartney and so many more. Phil is a simply outstanding musician with great stories to tell.
We got all the tales of working with global superstars, as well as a lick of lovely playing, too, in one of our deepest dives into the mind of a veteran guitarist.

Queens Of The Stone Age's long-time guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen might be one of the coolest, most intriguing guests we've hosted. We dug into Tash's musical influences, the Terra Firma album and signature Fender Strat. Heads up: this episode features some explicit language.

To others, the major collaborator with David Bowie, Madonna, Diana Ross and Lady Gaga. To more than a few, he's the guitarist on Daft Punk's earworm “Get Lucky”.
Jack had the pleasure of hosting Nile Rodgers on this one.
